2024On February 1, 2024, Yuanda Meile Company organized an employee reading golden sentence sharing and reserve talent debate competition.
Reading can inspire people’s minds and enhance their personal qualities. Therefore, the company advocates building a learning oriented enterprise, requiring employees to read more and read good books, and sharing famous quotes and phrases that have touched them during the process of reading and learning. To this end, the company has carefully organized multiple book clubs and added a "Monthly Golden Sentence Sharing" column in the office area, where employees can independently vote to select the champion of monthly Golden Sentence Sharing. In just one year, multiple gold sentence sharing champions were born. In order to enable employees who participated in the sharing of gold sentences to exchange their reading experiences and share the inspiration of gold sentence quotes for their work, life, and learning, the company held the "Group" gold sentence and "Joy" gold sentence sharing and excerpting exchange activities.

The event was hosted by Gu Yanping and study committee member Zou Dan. Everyone sat together, listening to the host’s announcement of winning the Golden Sentence and sharing the list of champions and Golden Sentences, and then sharing and reviewing again. In the process of collecting and copying famous quotes and phrases, employees not only accumulate rich knowledge, but also exercise their information retrieval and independent thinking abilities, and are inspired by sharing.

Along with the review of the golden sentence, the host invited the champion and on-site participants to share their understanding of the champion’s golden sentence, express their interpretation of the golden sentence and the areas that touched them, as well as the reasons for sharing, and combine their life experience and learning to share their insights on the golden sentence. The sharing session also invited employees to share their feelings and suggestions on the above measures, and thanked everyone for their active participation, affirming their growth and progress.
The emergence of the internet has made our lives more convenient, brought us closer together, and facilitated the acquisition of information. However, whether the internet has a positive or negative effect on interpersonal communication varies from person to person, and it also brings different confusions. Therefore, the company organized a debate competition among reserve talents on whether the internet makes people closer or more distant.

This debate competition is divided into three rounds, with two teams participating in the competition. The competition system is divided into six stages: argumentation stage, refutation stage, cross examination stage, free debate stage, concluding remarks and audience questioning. The positive side presented arguments and arguments around the network making people closer, while the negative side presented arguments and arguments about the network making people more distant. Both sides engaged in a heated debate on the topic, with both sides going back and forth without giving in. Through repeated verbal confrontations, they keenly caught each other’s loopholes and weaknesses, demonstrating strong logical and language expression abilities, pushing the competition to a climax. The debaters were well founded, expressing their own opinions, and showcasing their language skills, which resonated with the audience on site.

After the competition, the judges gave wonderful comments on the competition, fully acknowledging the performance of each debater. At the same time, they gave suggestions to the participating team as a whole and individuals, hoping that the debaters could learn from their experience and take it to the next level in future debate competitions.

The company hopes to take this sharing and exchange activity as an opportunity, and hopes that everyone can develop a good habit of loving reading, exercise independent thinking ability, enjoy the fun of reading, broaden their horizons, use books as companions and friends, and continuously improve. There is no standard answer to a debate or argument, and there is no right or wrong viewpoint. It is a person’s position that determines their viewpoint. In the future, the company will also hold sharing and exchange meetings, debate competitions and other activities to exercise everyone’s thinking and expression abilities, and enable employees to grow.
